What is this day?
At a time when many people are focused on giving thanks for the bounty in their lives, others are feeling the pain of hunger and misfortune.
Last year, Hands of Hope Fed 350 families on Thanksgiving, with a traditional Thanksgiving meal that families were able to prepare in their own homes with pride and dignity which consisted of turkey, dressing, yams, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls, dessert, and drinks.
This year we hope to reach this year’s goal of 400 families. We rely on generous charitable tax deductible donations from caring sponsors and individuals in our communities.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated, and will make a difference in the lives of so many people, right here in the Roanoke Valley.

VOLUNTEER SIGNUP
Volunteers are needed Friday November 19th from 4-7pm for coordinating food bags and Volunteers needed on Saturday November 20th from 9am-1pm to relocate the bags and distribute the food in a drive thru setting.
