Cynthia Harris

Cynthia Harris is a Roanoke native-born and raised and has lived in NW Roanoke for over sixty years. She comes from a family of veterans which includes her late father, her brothers, and only sister.

Cynthia now retired, worked for Carilion Health System for 20 years in an Administrative capacity in Neuro Intensive Care.

She then decided to follow her passion in working with veterans and retired from the US Dept of Veterans Affairs after serving 28 years in Salem, VA.

Cynthia is a mother and a community advocate supporting several groups.

Allyson Davoll

Allyson Davoll, Owner Inspired to Enhance Beauty and Grooming Consultants and Inspired to Enhance Lexington.

Allyson Davoll has been in the beauty industry since graduating from high school with a cosmetology accreditation. After completing studies in business and marketing at Virginia Union University, Davoll continued to follow her passion in cosmetology and began her career assisting in a hair salon in Silver Spring, MD. She quickly advanced into management positions in Washington DC, motivating her to start her own beauty business consulting agency, appropriately called “Inspired to Enhance Consulting Group”. Davoll dedicated the years that followed to both furthering her education in the beauty industry and mentoring others; which included independent contractors and stylists.

Inspired to Enhance brand features services for all hair textures and styles, as promoted by Davoll’s passion for diversity and inclusion.

Inspired to Enhance Beauty and Grooming Consultants is located in Salem VA, and Inspired to Enhance Lexington is located in Lexington VA.

Melvin Ward

Melvin Ward is the owner/operator of Five Star Touring and Chauffeur Services LLC and Kool Kids Learning, Fun and Party Bus.

Melvin has always been a people person since the start of his career. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY moving to Richmond where his career started as a Behavioral Health Technician at St. Mary’s Hospital then to Richmond Community Hospital as a Team Leader in Environmental Services. Melvin started playing Santa Claus for the children in the Hospital and helping employees and families with donations towards their Thanksgiving. Melvin’s passion to help people in need has stretched to Roanoke, VA over the past ten years. Melvin has taken the initiative to feed 15-20 families for Thanksgiving and also give out gifts for Christmas to the men’s homeless shelter and women’s battered shelter. His team feeds the homeless monthly with the help of local community sponsors. Melvin’s mission is to build a housing community for the homeless. He believes in providing help for those in need.
